An Old Man's Haiku

Young hearts learn life’s gems
Kindness and love so crucial
Old men know this truth

Thank you everyone for your interest in my haiku.
At the time of writing I did feel that the last line could be controversial - maybe a truth, maybe an overly romanticised way of seeing things...., in truth probably neither of those two extremes, nor both of them, not even a little of each.... probably just the whimsical musings of a man with time on his hands.
